Just like the city of Asheville, we keep the vibes high and creative at this upscale, beautifully decorated salon. We welcome you to come in and relax with a glass of wine while enjoying the natural light and mountain views right off of Merrimon Ave. For your convenience, there is easy access to free parking just outside. Our salon uses Schwarzkopf's line of permanent, semi-permanent, and organic colors.

Pamela is the Founder & Creative Director of SalonAVL. With 25 years of experience behind the chair, Pamela has built a career on a foundation of advanced education, artistry, and unwavering commitment to excellence. She has become known for creating effortlessly beautiful hair that is both timeless and personalized.
After graduating Blue Ridge Community College, Pamela began a career assisting at the iconic Hollywood Vampires, a Paul Mitchell salon, where she refined her technical skills while embracing the importance of exceptional guest experiences. She later joined a premier Aveda salon in the heart of downtown Asheville, where she continued to elevate her craft through extensive advanced education in Charlotte, North Carolina, specializing in precision cutting, seamless color blending, and modern color artistry. Believing that exceptional results begin with continual education, Pamela has pursued advanced training with many of the industry’s most respected professional brands, including Schwarzkopf Professional, BLONDME, Olaplex, Paul Mitchell, Redken, and Shades EQ. She remains dedicated to Schwartzkopf color, combining innovative techniques with premium products to deliver healthy, dimensional, and effortlessly luxurious hair.
Pamela’s signature work centers around lived-in color, dimensional blending, gray blending, and DreamCatchers Hair Extensions, creating customized transformations that complement each guest’s lifestyle, features, and personal style. Her philosophies rooted in enhancing natural beauty through thoughtful consultation, meticulous attention to detail, and healthy hair practices.
In 2018, Pamela brought her vision to life by founding SalonAVL-a luxury destination where elevated service, continued education, and genuine hospitality come come together to create an experience that is as memorable as the results themselves. Every detail of the salon reflects her belief that true luxury is found in exceptional craftsmanship, meaningful relationships, and making every guest feel seen, valued, and effortlessly confident. For Pamela, beauty is never one-size-fits-all. It is a personalized experience, thoughtfully curated to help every guest leave feeling like the very best version of themselves.
ANGELA
Angela is a New York native who discovered her love for the beauty industry from her hairstylist aunt. With six years of experience, she specializes in dimensional color, lived-in blondes, precision cuts, and smoothing treatments. Her skills are tailoring her work to fit each client’s style and lifestyle. Whether you're after a bold transformation, a soft refresh, or voluminous waves, Angela is dedicated to helping clients look and feel their best. Angela brings her creativity and warmth to every appointment, creating a fun, welcoming experience from start to finish. In her spare time, she enjoys reading books, crocheting, and spending time with her boyfriend and cat, Cherry Tomato.
JESSLYN
Jesslyn is a master stylist with over a decade of experience. She began her journey with a love of art, and believes that each head is its own unique canvas. Her passion is giving clients the palette and tools to let their best self shine through. She specializes in seamless blending, crafting dimensional colors, creating volume with lightweight damage free weft extensions, tailoring cuts to your hair type and texture, and is our resident bridal specialist. She also enjoys a chance to take risks and think outside of the box, be it unconventional styles or corrective cutting and color! Outside of the salon, she loves horror movies, trying new foods, painting, and exploring with her son.
JITRA
Jitra brings a unique blend of hospitality, creativity, and professionalism to Salon AVL. A trained pastry chef by trade, she developed a strong foundation in precision, organization, and creating memorable guest experiences before transitioning into salon management. As an experienced salon manager, Jitra is dedicated to ensuring every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and valued from the moment they walk through our doors. Her warm personality, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence help create the elevated luxury experience Salon AVL is known for. Outside of work, her greatest joy comes from traveling, baking, hiking, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Lianet is a quadlingual licensed esthetician and massage therapist with a passion for helping clients look and feel their best. She believes skincare is about more than just treating the surface—it’s about creating healthy skin, building confidence, and providing a space where you can truly relax and recharge. She specializes in customized facials, micro channeling, eyelash extensions and therapeutic massage, tailoring every service to your unique needs and goals. Whether you are looking to address acne, signs of aging, or simply enjoy a moment of self care, her approach combines results-driven techniques with a calming, personalized experience.
